In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Authority advises the general public and our external stakeholders that, until further notice:
- Opening hours for members of the public and external stakeholders will be restricted at the Barataria, San Fernando, Arima, Chaguanas and Tobago offices from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- The Couva Office will be temporarily closed. Couva applicants are asked to proceed to the Chaguanas Office at No. 62 Eleanore Street, Chaguanas (Tel. 225-4522) for service.
- The Government of Trinidad and Tobago has placed limitations on the number of individuals able to gather at any location (25).
- Applicants are asked to prioritize urgent and pressing matters before deciding to come to an LAAA office. Clients with matters that are not urgent are likely to have their matters deferred to communication via telephone or scheduled in-person interview. Fees for services are temporarily suspended.
