I am pleased to welcome members of the public to the website of the Legal Aid and Advisory Authority. For over forty years the Authority has had a proud history of protecting rights enshrined in the Constitution of Trinidad and Tobago by providing legal aid and advice to members of our society.

2018 was a year of growth for the Authority with the addition of our Chaguanas District Office to our Network of Offices. In 2019 we have several exciting new developments as we develop, implement and streamline our services to better represent the interests of persons accessing our services.
As part of the Authority’s thrust to enhance customer service, we have included information on this website about what current services we can provide and what information you need to provide us with so that we can better assist you.
